Hey there.

It’s Lindsey.  I’m a sophomore here at RMC, and I have a great passion for the arts.  This includes movies, art, language, and most especially music.  I intend to blog about the songs that are currently on the repeat track of my iPod.  Lately, I have fallen into the trap of listening to mostly popular music, but I’ll try to provide a good variety of song selections for my readers.  I generally like pop music, country music, rock music, and instrumental music.  Not surprisingly, there are some genres that I absolutely cannot stand, some of which include jazz, rap, and scream-o.  Plus, discovering songs that aren’t well known (but deserve to be) is also a hobby of mine.  Hopefully, I can add each of these flavors to the blog at some point.

To keep the blog from getting a little too monotonous, I’ll also try and add a tidbit about humorous things in the music world (like parodies, trends, etc.).  Since I’m not a funny person so-to-speak, I enjoy finding funny things that other people have made (intentionally or not). Plus, maybe the search for humor will allow me to throw in some movie reviews or artistic comments. 🙂

I hope that this blog will be relatively entertaining, because I’m really excited to share these passions of mine with the rest of the world (or the rest of the class at least).  Thanks, and happy blogging!

P.S. I’ll try not to be too snarky, but sometimes the sarcasm just flows.  Hopefully, it will simply provide you with some extra entertainment!
